| Description: | The project is based in Gaborone and will have a duration of 33 calendar months. The intended commencement date is April 2008. We are currently seeking a Network Support Officer to join us with the following qualifications and experience: • a degree in agricultural sciences with a relevant postgraduate qualification • a minimum of 10 years professional experience in agricultural research • a minimum of 7 years proven professional experience in internationally recognised relevant institutions • fluent in English • previous experience with research networks • experience in senior advisory positions • at least 5 years experience in African countries, preferably in the Southern African region • demonstrated capacity to work with people of different cultural backgrounds • experience in the implementation of donor funded/EDF projects will be an advantage • working knowledge of French/Portuguese will be an added advantage contact Heather Kalantary on +44 (0) 1623 684543 |
