POST-DOCTORAL SCIENTIST – MARKET ECONOMICS

| Description: | ILRI seeks to recruit a post-doctoral scientist in market economics to join a new regional project on in-situ conservation of endemic ruminant livestock in West Africa funded by the Global Environmental Fund. The position will play a key role in this four-country project (Mali, Senegal, Gambia and Guinea) in implementing the component of the project dealing with commercialization and marketing systems of endemic ruminant livestock and livestock products. The post-doctoral scientist will assist in the design of field surveys and coordinate data collection related to the commercialization and marketing component of the project in collaboration with other research partners in each of the four countries. S/he will be responsible for analysing the data and producing research outputs that are relevant to the project partners |
