| Description: | You will play a central role in the development of team goals and strategies, in resource mobilization for research programs and projects, for maintaining and developing strong scientific partnerships, representing the institute internationally and in managing and mentoring the scientific team. You will have considerable autonomy and responsibility to develop and expand the contribution of biotechnology in ILRI and internationally. The position is based in Nairobi, Kenya with significant international travel as required.
